The Geelong College Recreation Centre is now open after the Victorian Government restrictions lifted at 11.59am on Tuesday 27 July.
All Learn-to-Swim classes will resume today and credits for missed lessons have been loaded to all Learn-to-Swim members profiles. All outstanding fees must be paid by the end of this week. Payments can be made by phoning the Centre on 5226 3129.
Lap swimming members can now return to the Centre, the lap swimming booking page is now live. All members must follow COVID safety directions at the Centre and masks must be worn outdoors and indoors at all times. Please note the College Water Polo Program is now using the Centre. Please check the Lap Swimming page for effected times.
The Geelong College Recreation Centre is located in the heart of the historic Senior School campus and is easily accessible from Aphrasia St. The Centre offers a high-quality training, recreation and competition venue for students, staff and members of The Geelong College community.
Designed to FINA standards, the Centre features an eight lane 25-meter pool with variable depths and a separate diving area with three and one metre competition diving boards. The Centre has the capacity to host many aquatic activities and competitions, with a grandstand that can host approximately 250 people.
Our qualified team of recreation professionals are friendly and enthusiastic which creates an enjoyable and safe environment for individuals, groups and families.
Our Centre has been endorsed with a Lifesaving Victoria Safety Assessment Gold Accreditation for outstanding compliance and safety scores.
