How can I help?

Our donors already help in many ways, but we are often asked where is support most needed. In the spirit of helping you make a difference at College through a gift that suits your passion, we have outlined some of the ways in which you can support the school to ensure the preservation, improvement and development of the school’s educational offering and facilities. If you would like to know more please contact us on (03) 5226 3779.

Giving Back…Willing to help

Supporting our school can be done in so many ways such as volunteering on parent committees and support groups, to becoming members of the Foundation Board or representatives on the OGCA or Albert Bell Club committees. We also welcome donations of memorabilia to the College Archives and stories from your time at College. Visit our Online Heritage Guide to reminisce about the life and people of Geelong College.

There are also opportunities to provide advice and to share your experiences with our younger alumni by joining our mentoring program or possibly speaking to our current students. You are always welcome to come back to visit the school, have a tour and meet with our alumni team. As Old Collegians (both College & Morongo) you can join our alumni network of over 2300 people at www.geelongcollegeconnect.com. As part of this service it is easy to get back in contact with your peers, promote your company through our free Business Directory and even use our Jobs Board to advertise positions and tap into our network.

We would love to hear from you.

Annual Giving

Each year the Foundation asks for the support of the College community for special projects designed to enhance learning and life at The Geelong College. Every gift helps us to achieve our aim of supporting the College and its students to be the very best they can be.

Supporting the next Generation (Scholarships and Bursaries)

Throughout the school’s history, scholarships and bursaries have been a constant and have allowed the College to offer an exceptional education to students who would not otherwise have been able to experience life at College and all it has to offer.  Find out how you can help support our scholarships program, including the Dr Bill Williams Tjungurrayi Scholarship for our Indigenous students.

The Morongo Award

First introduced in 2001 by the Morongo Old Collegians Association, the Foundation offers the Morongo Award each year to a deserving Year 11 student at The Geelong College who is a descendant of a Morongo Old Collegian.  Find out how you can help keep this very important link to Morongo Girls’ College in perpetuity.
