The Recreation Centre will be operating on the current restrictions into next year until further advice has been given by the Government.
The lap booking system will also remain in place during this period, our operating hours will still be limited and sessions may vary from week to week, we ask for our members understanding as we attempt to maximise opportunities for everyone and thank you for your appreciation and support during the pandemic.
All fixed term memberships will remain on hold. If you would like to use the remainder of your membership fee to pay for your swims as you go, we can arrange this. Please contact Tristan Read for further information.
Our Intensive Learn-to-Swim, Learn-to-Dive and Squad programs will resume in January:
Week 1: Monday 11 – Friday 15 January 2021
Week 2: Monday 18 – Friday 22 January 2021
The Centre will be closed from Sunday 20 December 2020 and reopen on Wednesday 6 January 2021.
Online Lap bookings for 2021 will open from Friday 1 Jan 2021.
Our Intensive Learn-to-Swim, Learn-to-Dive and Squad after school program will start Monday 1 February 2020.
On Sunday the Victorian Government announced some easing of restrictions that are relevant to the programming of the Recreation Centre. Changes that were announced have been considered and we have decided to recommence the remaining Term 3 lessons during Term 4 with the commencement date being Thursday the 29 October.
Class times will be sent out shortly, they will be the same as Term 3 except Friday students - please take note of your class times as they have changed just slightly.
We see this as a significant step forward, but we understand that many students from Term 1 and 2 have missed out on a position for Term 4. We will be providing a couple of options in the coming days to get some more squad swimmers and pre squad swimmers back in the water. These positions are limited but we endeavour to include as many students as possible.
Term 4 Schedule
• Monday lessons from 9 November – 14 December
• Tuesday lessons from 3 November – 8 December
• Wednesday lessons from 4 November – 9 December
• Thursday lessons from 29 October - 10 December
• Friday lessons from 30 Oct – 11 December
Term 1 2021
The Learn to Swim team are preparing the foundations for a new and improved 2021 program with further community inclusion and greater internal opportunities once full operations return. We hope to be able to include all students from 2020 as well as integrating our outstanding waiting list positions into the program
The enrolment process for 2021 will be different. We will assign lessons based on previous enrolment data along with other considerations. This process will commence once we can be confident of the level of restrictions that the Recreation Centre will be governed by for that period.

as a credit for the next program unless notified. If you require a refund please contact email@example.com.
With the situation changing regularly, we will continue to provide up to date information on the College website, SMS system and emails to keep all our members informed.
We thank you for your continued support and wish you and your families good health and some down time as we work toward stopping the spread of this virus together.
