Hampers Bring Christmas Cheer to Local Families

The Geelong College community has banded together to assemble overflowing hampers of food for UnitingCare Geelong.

The 2019 Prefects presented Eril from UnitingCare Geelong with the Senior School's hampers yesterday, Wednesday 5 December, and helped load them into their van.

The Junior School community's hampers are being picked up tomorrow, 7 December.

The hampers will go to disadvantaged families in the Geelong area for Christmas. This year, UnitingCare Geelong aims to supply 350 hampers.

Thank you to all of the students, parents and staff who donated to the hamper appeal. People who wish to donate food directly to UnitingCare can visit their Food for Families website for more information.
