Photographer's Artistic Journey to Paris
NONE

Years 11 and 12 Art and Studio Arts students were fortunate to attend a presentation by Fiona Mackay (OGC 2003) in the George Logie-Smith Auditorium this week.

Fiona is a practising photographer, who for the past two years has been based in Paris, where she is represented by France’s longest established fine art/photography gallery, Galerie Agathe Gaillard. Students were inspired by Fiona’s artistic journey since completing her degree and honours in Melbourne.

Fiona returns to Paris later next week to continue her artistic practice after visiting family and enjoying some warm Geelong weather. We wish Fiona all the best for her solo exhibition later in the year, and thank her for returning to the College and inspiring our senior students to creatively reach for the stars.
