Indigenous Painting Raffle Winner Announced!

This morning, the winner of The Geelong College's Indigenous Painting Raffle was drawn.

Congratulations to Sandy Goddard, whose ticket was randomly drawn from about 100 entries by Deputy Principal Roger Smith.

Sandy has won a beautiful authentic piece of Indigenous artwork by Natalie Holmes Pula. The raffle has raised about $5000, which will go towards the Watarrka Primary School's appeal to build a new facility so that their children can attend secondary school. The College has shared a strong connection with the Lilla school in the Northern Territory, through the Fulfilling Lives program.

Thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket in our raffle. Your generosity will assist greatly in the Lilla community's efforts to improve the education and lives of their children.
