Student Bullying (Harassment) Policy
As part of the school's ongoing commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for students, we have recently reviewed our Student Bullying (Harassment) Policy. This review has involved an extensive consultation process including feedback from staff and parents (via the Preparatory and Senior School Parents' Associations) in the first instance. It has also taken into consideration changes in community expectations regarding the management of student bullying and harassment, which has become an even more complex issue in recent years with the dramatic growth in the use of computers and portable electronic devices.
The major change in the new Policy is the introduction of a restorative practices approach to the management of bullying and harassment incidents.
Parents are urged to read this policy and to discuss it with their children.
