Senior School Parents Association meetings and news
The Senior School Parents' Association meets on the first Monday evening of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room at the Senior School. Any interested parents are welcome to join the committee and attend the meetings.
The objectives of the SSPA are to:
- establish, cultivate and foster friendships between College parents
- assist the School Council and Principal in the development of amenities, facilities and projects for students
- provide financial assistance to the College where appropriate for the provision of education at the College.
One of its main activities is to host the Senior School Parents Welcome Evening at the beginning of each year, the Year Level Parents??? dinners and the Boarding Parents??? dinner. The SSPA also organises the annual Valedictory Dinner and second hand book sale, and they co-ordinate the sale of some College merchandise, supported by the Community Relations and Development Office.
The Annual Information for Parents booklet details the contact names and telephone numbers of current office bearers. If you would like further information about the SSPA, you can contact these office bearers or the Community Relations and Development Office on (03) 5226 3123.
