Support Groups
Parents' Support Groups are an invaluable extension of the College community. The effort, expertise and enthusiasm contributed by members of these groups to support and enrich the programs of the College are very beneficial and greatly appreciated by the school.
Parents' Support Groups have been established to fulfil the following functions:
- to act as a conduit for communication between the school and parents
- to support staff members in enriching and extending the various programs
- to provide ideas and resources
- to assist at various events (eg, information evenings, end-of-season or social functions)
- to serve food and drinks at matches or pre-season training camps, acting as hosts to visitors from other schools and ensuring that new parents feel welcome
- to assist through fund-raising activities (as appropriate)
- to meet regularly throughout the year to plan and formalise their activities
For contact names and telephone numbers of the Convenors, please refer to the Annual Information for Parents booklet.
