Senior School
Located in Talbot Street Newtown on 8 hectares, the Senior School offers a beautiful and well-structured educational setting combining spacious grounds and pleasing vistas with outstanding specialist and sporting facilities: the music and drama centre, lecture theatre, art and craft centre, science laboratories, gymnasium, weights room, swimming and diving pools, synthetic tennis courts and hockey field and splendidly maintained ovals.
Historic vine-clad buildings dating back to 1871 belie the innovative learning practices taking place indoors.
Students in Years 9 to 12 engage in a mature program of studies in preparation for post-school life. A broad spectrum of academic and co-curricular choices opens up enticingly. As they proceed through the school, senior students choose subjects or electives that are relevant to their individual skills, interests and abilities and responsive to educational and societal trends.
Whole child growth continues to be fostered through a stimulating program of excursions, music, drama and debating, camps, guest speakers, community service, resident scholars and the Associated Public School sporting competition.
