The Preparatory School comprises the Early Learning Centre (ELC), Campbell House and Middle School. It is set on an expansive 14 hectare site on the corner of Aberdeen Street and Minerva Road, Newtown, two kilometres from the Senior School.

Facilities include a multi-purpose hall and centre, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, two libraries, a computer laboratory, a music school, science laboratories and a magnificent art centre overlooking the Barwon Valley. As part of The Geelong College’s commitment to working in and learning about the environment, a thriving Environment Centre has been developed.
