Boarding at The Geelong College commences at Year 9 for boys and girls and has always been an important part of College life. The warmth and ‘extended family’ atmosphere of both Houses reflect the way they are internally structured and the friendly nature of students and staff alike who work and live there.
The Geelong College has two boarding houses – Mossgiel for girls and Mackie for boys. Both are home to around 100 boarders who come mainly from country areas within Victoria, but also from Melbourne, southern New South Wales and overseas.
