College teacher and Head of Mackie Boarding House, Mr Greg Smith, his family and representatives from the Australian and French governments attended a service in Northern France in April where Bill Smith was interred with full military honours.

Former Geelong College student, Sara Trainor, OGC ’08,  has won the 13^th DM Harish International Moot Court Competition in Mumbai, India.

Old Collegian and big wave surfer Jeff Rowley (OGC1996) became the first Australian surfer to paddle into ‘Jaws’ to catch and ride the giant 50 foot (15m) Hawaiian monster known as ‘Jaws’.
